Invite friends
Invite a friend to HiveTrade and you and your friend each get $5 once your friend's settled trades on HiveTrade add up to $25. You can invite as many friends as you like; bonuses past a yearly threshold are reviewed (below).
- Share your link. Open Invite friends and copy or share your invite link. Friends who sign up through it are tagged to you.
- Your friend reaches $25 in settled trades. Signing up is not enough: the bonus is earned once your friend's settled trades add up to $25. A trade counts once its market settles, win or lose. Practice, trades on a Hive your friend runs, and trades bought at near-certain prices do not count.
- You each get $5, paid to your own HiveTrade signing wallet, never to a Kalshi account.
Signing up in the iOS app
Invite links currently send friends to the web. If your friend signs up in an iOS build with the optional Referral code field, they can enter your code on the account-creation consent screen. Copy it from Invite friends. Installing the app does not carry the web link's referral code across automatically.
What the Invite page shows
Each invite, with its date and its progress, for example 48% of the way to the reward. It never shows who the friend is or how much they traded. An invite reads In progress, Under review, Qualified or Not eligible. If you were invited yourself, the page also shows Your bonus and its progress.
If your earned bonus needs a wallet
The bonus is paid to your HiveTrade signing wallet, not your Kalshi balance. The iOS app offers Set up to receive $5 when an earned bonus is waiting for that wallet. This creates the wallet; it does not open a Polymarket account or enable trading. Creating it is not a payment: the bonus status still shows Awaiting payment, Under review or Paid.
Reviews
Self-referrals and duplicate accounts don't qualify. Invites that share a device or network are reviewed before any payout. The Terms apply.
Referral bonuses have a review threshold of $600 per member per calendar year (UTC). It counts the bonuses you receive as an inviter and as an invited friend together. A bonus that would take your total for that year past $600 is held for review, and is not paid unless it is approved.
